Michael Fay is an Emergent Media theorist who has carefully considered the impact of newly designed digital artifacts since 2015. He has worked as the project manager for cross-discipline teams of programmers, artists, writers, and designers for nearly a decade across multiple projects. Some of Michael’s most successful projects are the development of the award-winning mobile game BREAKAWAY!, the founding of the Akron Zips Esports Program, and the operation of the Rutgers Esports Center.
At his core, Michael believes that technology has a profound transformative power for social good and economic justice when designed with intention. He seeks to contribute to projects in all disciplines that can better bring his vision of a socially responsible future to bear in the reality of the now.
