Varsity Rocket League Coach, Champlain College 2022=Present

  • Coached the varsity Rocket League team for the Fall 2022 & Spring 2023 season.

  • Coordinated practices, scrimmages and competitive games.

  • Managed the development, planning, and implementation of the program and services offered at the Esports Center.

  • Oversaw the overall development and growth of the established esports program.

  • Developed and executed regular events and programs in the Center including creating intramural programs, events for the Rutgers community, and Rutgers gaming club events.

  • Fundraised over $100,000 in sponsorship year-one contributions to the esports program from businesses such as Audiotechnica, SteelSeries, Gravity Gaming, Archon Clothing, and the Cleveland Clinic.

  • Managed a team of 2 professional staff, 9 varsity student staff, & 14 student assistants.

  • Responsibilities included communication with stakeholders, developing budget proposals, contract negotiation, schedule & risk management, as well as execution of each of the following projects along with team members:

BREAKAWAY!- Led a cross discipline team of designers, artists, writers, and programmers in the creation of a narrative based mobile game that uses soccer as a universal language to address issues of gender equity & violence against women with children in impoverished third world communities.

University of Vermont Medical Center, Palliative Care Division- Managed a team of researchers and designers in the research, design, prototyping, and proposing of applications for virtual reality technology in the administration of palliative care for doctors in the UVM Palliative Care network.

  • Led a team of casters, technical directors, and graphic designers in the regular broadcast of competitive Overwatch tournaments; managed staff schedule; conducted workshops for casting talent.

Taught the course Introduction to Epsorts Management EGM102; a course introducing the history of Esports in the world, specifically the current state of the multi-billion-dollar industry, the emerging trends in the market, and the current state of competitive play. 

Esports Adjunct Faculty, Rowan University 2022-Present

Taught the course: Introduction to Esports SPRT09201; a course that covers the historical development of several of the most popular esports games as well as the cultural and economic implications of those games on the videogame industry. Advised on syllabus design and course structure.

Intersession Instructor, Amherst College 2019

Taught a five-day lecture series called “Critical Topics in Esports” which included lectures on topics such as: History of Esports, Business of Esports, From Game to Esport, Esports and Society, & the Esports Opportunity.

Guest Lecturer, The University of Akron 2018

Offered a lecture called “Introduction to Esports” for the class Business of Sport (Graduate) 5550-630. Facilitated the observation of varsity student-esports players in-training.
